ABOUT US
We all share a passion for figure skating and we are able to enjoy the sport in a fun, team-oriented environment. Academics are our priority but we also strive for top results on the ice. The NYU Figure Skating team offers both competitive and recreational opportunities for NYU students practicing freestyle and dance.
We are recognized as a club sport at NYU and we compete in the three Northeast Sectional U.S. Figure Skating Intercollegiate Competitions every year. We qualified for our first National Intercollegiate Final in 2020.

We participate in many fun activities as a team. We have team dinners and other team traditions. During the holiday season, our skaters have had opportunities to perform at some of the iconic outdoor New York City rinks. We are also involved in philanthropy as a team. We recently raised money to donate meals to frontline healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are also excited about our developing relationship with Figure Skating in Harlem.
